Foshay Energy Completes San Diego Christian College 251 kW solar installation in Santee, CA

San Diego, CA, August 2015 – Foshay Energy announced the completion of a 251 kW solar and energy storage installation for San Diego Christian College (SDCC). The site contains 987, 255 watt Canadian Solar poly crystalline modules utilizing both carports and roof mount systems with a combination of Kaco string inverters with Ampt string optimizers and Solar Edge inverters with web-based monitoring. The project was fast-paced, completed during the College’s summer break, with design to install completed in 6 weeks in time for the opening of the Fall semester. 75% of campus parking was covered with solar carports and two EV (electronic vehicle) charging stations were installed. This project demonstrates the commitment of both companies to renewable energy solutions that positively impact their communities.
