San Diego, CA, 2009 – FOSHAY Electric announced the completion of a 861 kW solar installation for Santee Lakes Baja Car Ports, a recreational vehicle storage facility. The site contains 14,350 thin film panels.

About Santee Lakes Regional Park-Padre Dam

The Padre Dam Municipal Water District, a provider of water to San Diego, CA, activated this 861 KW photovoltaic solar energy system in 2009. Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve is an award winning, 190 acre Park and Campground surrounding seven private, scenic lakes filled with recycled water and stocked year-round with sport fish.  The Park provides a safe and tranquil setting for camping, fishing, picnics, fitness, bird watching, boating, biking and special events in a natural environment.
